People who work longer are twice as at risk of hair loss

The bad news for careers and people who like long hair.

Researchers have found that people who work longer than 52 hours a week are twice as likely to lose hair
That's okay because most work only 40 hours a week - or at least for so many hours they have a contract - but in other countries, such as South Korea, it's common enough to work longer.

That's why the study linked the long haircut to the long fall, taking the results from 13,000 men.

The logic behind this is simple: Stress causes changes in hormone levels in certain areas of the body, including the scalp.

When stressed, hormonal change can invade the hair follicles in the scalp.

Thus, we have learned from previous research that stress stimulates our immune system to attack our hair follicles.
